COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course studies consist of a combination of flight and ground time emphasizing in intermediate aerodynamics, aircraft systems, aircraft avionics, safety, and weather and aviation navigation under Visual Flight Rules (VFR) as listed under the FAA regulations. The course will also include advanced cross-country flying, commercial maneuvers and preparation for the FAA Written Test, Practical and Oral Examinations. Part 141 students will undergo several stage checks as listed in the 141 syllabus

 

ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS

1) Must hold an Instrument Rating or be concurrently enrolled in the Instrument and Commercial course

2) Read, Speak and Understand English

3) A 3rd Class Medical or Higher (VA must be a 2nd Class Medical)

  • 35 Hours Ground Training
  • 55 Hours Flight (Dual) Training
  • 65 Hours Flight (Solo) Training
  • 120 Hours Flight Time Combined (Dual/Solo)
  • Pass Written and Practical Test

FAR PART 61 PROGRAM

  • 20 Hours Flight (Dual) Training
  • 10 Hours Flight (Instrument) Training
  • 10 Hours Flight (Complex) Training
  • 250 Hours Flight Time Logged
  •  Pass Written and Practical Test
