Veteran Affairs Benefits
Anderson Aviation is approved by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to administer VA Benefits for Flight Training, Chapter 30, 32 and 1606; active and retired, and active members of the Selected Reserve, including Army National Guard and Air National Guard. After a student has obtained a Private Pilot license at his/her own expense, the VA benefits will become active for eligible and accepted applicants, paying 60 % of flight activity costs and 100 % of ground school expense for all courses beyond that of Private Pilot.
Those wishing to use their VA benefits for Flight Training must fill out form 22-1990 to get the process started since it might take several months for the approval. Those who have used the benefits before will have to fill out form 22-1995. All training for VA Benefits must be done under Part 141 and a second class medical before enrolling in the program will be required.
